Airbag Light - Help please
Discussion
I've replaced the seats in my 156. It's a 1999 1.8TS without side airbags. The seats that I have put in are from a later 156 with side airbags. The old passenger seat had a small connection for the airbag seat sensor (i assume) there are two wires, one blue and one white. The new seat (with side airbag) has three wires and a different connector. The wires are black & white, black and white (i think). Since the old wires aren't connected to anything now, the airbag light is on. I wanted to know if there was anything i could connect to the wires (a resistor or somesuch?) that would switch the light out? I am not worried about connecting the cables from the seat because the necessary wiring to trigger the airbag probably isn't there and i don't want to mess with it. does any of that make sense? any help gratefully received
