I posted on this forum a few months ago deliberating over a 360 or 550. Well, I have ended up just buying a 456 GTA in Grigio Titanio

I was very wary of the maintenance cost but this is having a full service, new cambelts etc etc and I got it for a great price with only 32k on the clock and a year full warranty inc gearbox. As part of the pre delivery service they are putting new tyres on it. Any suggestions as to what i should ask for? It has Bridgestones at the moment but I am not sure about them. Any advice appreciated...

Also, I am going to a wedding in the Dordogne in May and will drive it down via Paris. Can anyone suggest any good driving roads or a route down there that is not all motorway?

I am very excited as this is my first Ferrari!

David

I will. I have to wait about 3 weeks for all the work to be carried out though. A painful and long 3 weeks!

Congratulations. I can't remember the last time I saw a 456 on this forum. Photos please.

With regard to roads, France has such a selection you will be spoilt for choice.

Just look for hills. smile

Nice, I kept looking at the 456 as a car to cart the kids around in for fun (daily driver is an Aero 8) but can't get away from convertibles so ended up with a Mondial convertible instead.
