Seems it's understeering and not sure laughter is the right response for a car in the apparent M600 range for that track. The normal response you see of a well hussled car there is one of fear.

max speed the car looks to be handling very well but i'm not sure that track is suitable to show the cars true potential i dont think he got out of 3rd gear.

In all honesty the m600 lap looks pretty sleepy stuff. Maybe it's the lack of noise in the video, also the steering seems a bit too lively.

Or Peter can't drive!

Well its not fair to compare it to Dereks car of many moons ago; which was simple loonacy.

I think Peter should spend less time shaking the steering wheel, as we all know the more the front wheels are cross path the slower you go, OK it looke good to be "fighting the car" but actually is that what you want? - think about it. Get the car set up for the corner and then correct only if its necessary, and then with the pedal before the steering wheeel, stop playing with the thing in front of you, that fact that you have to suggests you got it wrong in the pedal department. So that's my view on his driving, if it were my view on his "sales techinique" then I'd be for more of the wheel spinning, "fighting that car, controlling the beast" (you're about to buy) sells the machine; hey how macho you must be to drive this.......

On the other hand, I think I saw 1.26 lateral G on one of the earlier corners which is pretty bloody good for a road legal car, many a racing machine will not get anywhere near that.

So brilliant car, good or bad driver (depends on where you are) and passenger I have yet to comment on.

I pulled 1.2 lateral G just earlier on tonight in my M12, i just flick the steering slightly going into the corner the car changes direction like a mongoose then just control the throttle until the apex and away, i love how you can feel when the tyres are on the limit of grip with this car and it is so easy to control and keep it on that limit, or give it a bit extra to loosen up the back end to get it pointing in the right direction.

From memory the M400 was measured at over 1.4 and a M3 CSL gets over 1.5, so reasonable to see over 1.2 but not especially ground breaking.
