For the first 45 seconds I was quite unimpressed. That soon changed though!

I love the comment some YouTuber has left that goes "is this man, playing a trance/flamenco mixture, by himself, on an acoustic guitar, whilst wearing a Raiden hat? who the f*ck divided by zero? i demand an explanation!"

ridiculous headgear, reasonable use of effects pedal, not very inspiring result.

This always struck me as a poor man's version of "Big Sur Moon" by Buckethead.

Never ceases to amaze me now the internet can bring out people with superior technical ability who can so convincingly destroy people with way less ability in a mere 4 words.

Please, Pothole, link us your vid that is so much better than this. I wait in awe of hearing your guitar abilities.

Or taste.

Quite effective, actually rather simple but not really all on "accoustic" guitar as played through effects pedal.

Be interesting to hear what it sounds like purely accoustic.

Lampshade is clearly the influence of trying to be buckethead and not quite getting it right.

Um, guys... I'm pretty sure it's not a lampshade. It looks to me like a coolie hat / conical Asian hat. And he's wearing an Asian tunic too.

In other videos he has a Japanese headband (hachimaki) on. So I think he has an oriental thing going on.

"Asian". rolleyes Yes, it's a Chinese rice worker's hat.

FYI I have filled in countless forms which have Asian and Chinese/Oriental as separate options. One exception was the BNP members application form*:

Racial background:
White [ ]
Not white [ ]

(*-I lied.)

What's wrong with "Asian"?

Wikipedia:
"The conical Asian hat, sedge hat, rice hat, paddy hat or coolie hat is a simple style of conical hat originating in East and Southeast Asia, particularly Indonesia, Vietnam, China, Japan and Korea. It is kept on the head by a cloth (often silk) chin strap; an internal band of the same material keeps the hat itself from resting on the wearer's head."

I guess you'd better get onto Wikipedia and correct that then. smile
