I've a 996 with some of interior trim squeeks + rattles. Way worse than my near silent 993.
Frankly they are tiny sounds but irritating none the less - figure it's not curable but thought to ask.
Also I get a slight suspension / steering knocking from either front wheel arch over light bumps / heavy turn in - not repeatable or consistant ?
any advice (appart from go to dealer !)

Can't help with the noises. But I noticed neither of you two are signed up for the Porsche rolling road day this Saturday.

Drop me a quick e-mail if you fancy it. As well as a good place to meet fellow pistonhead'ers you could take the opportunity to give your turbos a quick health check. There will be at least two other turbos there so you get a real back to back test. Same rolling road same day, same atmospheric conditions etc...
