Summer Tires.. what do you use ?

Im currently driving on Bridgestone RE070`s.. Brutal on the dry,scary on the wet road.

So what are you guys using ?

Bridgestone ER300. Seem to be a good all-rounder and not too pricey. The sx feels planted and safe since I put them on.

Toyo T1R's for all year round.

Although I am running Maxsport RB5 F3's at the momment, initialy for trackdays only but then thought 'ah screw it i'll use them on road aswell'....... brown stain in the wet though !!!!!!!

Peugeot:

Currently 1 x Nangkang XR611, 1 x 'HiFly' or similar on the front, and two Firestones on the back which are coming up to replacement time.

Going to replace the rear two with a couple of 'Barum' tyres from Tyre-Shopper.

Mazda:

Currently 4 x Pirelli P6000s. Don't like them.

Going replace all four with either:

Parada Spec 2, Toyo T1R or any of the crossover tyres such as R888s, AD08 Neovas or RS2s depending on how flush I'm feeling!

They're a good tyre on bigger, heavier cars - standard equipment on the Passat, for example.

But I don't think I'd put them on a smaller, lighter car.

Im running these on my Puma. Felt very sticky on the warm dry roads today. Could perhaps do with a little less flex in the sidewall, but seem very capable for what they are.

Given they're abour half the price of the Potenza from memory I can't fault them. Had budgets when I bought the car and they were lethal. The Turanza feels predictable and will let you slide the back if you like. Wet grip has been pretty good, as has dry.

Perfect combination (!!)...they are getting lowish so hopefully 4x Kumho Ecstas in the near future.

Hankook Ventus V12 Evo's. Replaced Bridgestone RE050 RFT's which were like driving around on rubber sandbags.
The Hankooks are superb, best tyre's I've ever used.

3x Goodyear GT2 and 1x Admiral Radial

Another vote for the ER300 - had them on the front of my last Mondy, and also E46, very good tyres and not expensive by any measure.
