Been ringing up Joolz for the past 3 days and emailed the fella too, but no response and his answering machine dont even pick up now...
Is he ok? Anyone know where he is?
Trying to get hold of him for an update on my baby... I hope he's ok and not been kidnapped by the Sheffield massive... plus his discussion forum has dissapeared off his website too....

We should start a Joolz fund, and buy him a mobile phone with a bluetooth headset, so that no matter what engine bay he's stuck under, he can always answer his calls without having to drag himself away from his work....

Saw Joolz yesterday - and yes, he is very busy, and no, his pants weren't down. He had worked through the night on my car to get it ready to go to France this week, and I know from what he has said, that he will probably be burning the midnight oil again this week. He really is a little gem, and I don't think I would have enjoyed my tvr experience as much if Joolz wasn't involved. You just KNOW it will be all right if he says it will. Just wish he could get his assistant sorted, someone must want a job! Then I can get my 'extras' done.
I'll put a tenner on this being the scenario...
He's had a hundred and fifty calls and 26 visitors this week all wanting him to drop what he's doing and talk to them. When he does, half of them just want him to tell them how to do a job themselves so they don't have to pay him to do it (he's too polite not to help them out). He then gets behind and starts to get pee'd off about how he's spending time on people who want something for nothing, and not spending time on his loyal customers. So he gets his mind fixed on working on the cars he's got in and making sure those customers get a good service, and deals with calls/e-mails later.
Anyways, I had a text from him last night and he was alive and kicking then. Will call him later and check that body and soul are still together
It's true he's got ads out for an assistant, but sadly today's youth seem to think the world owes them a living
He's looking for someone pretty special, because TVRs are more than just cars, they're P&Js.
If anyone knows someone with a good attitude around his way, mail me or ceejay and we'll make sure it doesn't get caught in the backlog.

ok, just spoken. he's fine. Story pretty much as I expected, but with the added complication of Vix being off sick.
Mark my words, he'll be back to his normal obnoxious self in a few days

yup, hi you guys .. I am alive *big yay*.
got so blinking frustrated today at not getting any serious amount of work done (rude girl correct .. too many callers and visitors) that i shut the roller door, locked the outer door and pulled the cord from the phone!
So sxs, your car is finished !
If vix gets back tomorow the fone will be back on, if I'm alone again then it won't be!! I came back from the weekend racing to 43 answerfone messages!! 40 of which are usually *my car is at xyk dealer and they say it needs a abc valve, does that sound right?*
needless to say, I don't get too excited about cars at other garages .. altho all will be answered in time .. you never know when they'll be future customers.
so .. have faith, patience and money ready for when you get your bills you lucky people

How many other dealers/indies would warrant such concern? not many(if any) i'll bet.
Just had an email from him, so still alive. Included the usual amount of detail too, so that'll deprive him of at least another 30 mins valuable sleep. As mentioned earlier, he seems really busy. It sounds like he'll have help on the phones again next week (get well soon Vicks!).
