How much more will a s2 Elise depreciate? ...

As title, how much do you think that a s2 Elise will depreciate to, within the next 5 years?
At the moment the absolute cheapest for one seams to be 10-11k.

So whats everyone educated guess/ opinion?

If you look at the older S1's they are (and have been) holding firm for a couple of years (same price as early S2's).

It all depends on the car, mileage, condition, spec, colour, but I'd say assuming it was a nice one and still had low mileage, a nice one bought now for 10k should still be worth in excess of 5k in 5 years, assuming the planet hasnt gone into melt down.

My S2 111S I sold after 18 months for what I paid for it (and I bought main dealer too).

Thats what i mean, with the s1's goin for 7-8k, minimum.
I'm insure if the the s2- in any form, in any spec, will get much below 10k, but of course with inflation, 10k then is less than 10k now...

With inflation running at 5% a year that means a price which "stands still" has actually "gone down 7.5%" in real terms.

It's very, very hard to escape depreciation.
