Has anybody looked into tuning possibilities on the new elise 111r yet?

I know Racespeed had some plans on this but they're in a spot of bother running their business at the moment so they might have shelved them.

You could try checking out some Toyota forums though. It's the same engine as used in the Celica and MR2 Roadster AFAIK. I believe you can get a supercharger but there will probably be fitmant problems in the Elise.

There is a US company called 'Racing & Prestige' I believe who are working on a new cam and other bits and bobs. Have a dig on www.elisetalk.com. Also people investigating SC options, but to be honest this engine hasn't really been looked at by many tuners yet so you may be best biding your time a while and letting other peoples engines get grenaded.

I'd keep an eye on Lotus themselves. I'm in no doubt that they will launch either a higher spec. Toyota engine or develop an upgrade pack for it. There is clearly the market for it, they've always done it in the past. I'd give it 12 months.
