I was looking at that too. Not the usual ECU upgrade, and no good engine pics, but
the spec sounds good all the same...

Nic would be cross with me though if I bought another Griff before I sold the Impreza.

Sounds very impressive, looks like it's had alot of money thrown at it too, not just the engine. Would be very interested to see where the power figures are from ( which RR ) and to see some 'more' (read as 'better') engine bay photos.
Someone around here must know something about this car surely ??

It was from Tvrdean on ebay about 6 months back so its a damaged repairable of some cat?

Thought it was that car, think it was at the Growl a few years ago on a B plate.

I seem to remember it at TVR Dean too...just from that horrid sterring wheel! Not my cup of tea but it seems to have had some money spent on it and looks in good nick.

...shame the add doesent mention the insurance status...always think they should just so potential buyers are aware up front? IMHO

car looks good but on the basis that a good standard 500 is circa 275 bhp a 100bhp increase from a sexy EMS? If it really does that I suspect we will all have one.

It does look like Simon's .... However if it is then . .

It's had a starter button installed

The rear lights have been blended in

The coil packs have been changed

The roll bar has been painted

Callipers painted

Wheels changed

And other stuff . . .

But again all easy enough to do, not sure the insurance status of Simon's, thought there wasn't anything 'unusual' even after his off?

It looks very much like the Griff which was owned by Pete Laverick aka 'Banana man', his was the same colour with chrome roll bar, spider wheels and modified front/rear lights. Pete's car also had a zip-out rear window and had registration number B xxx TVR. I wasn't aware that Pete's car had any engine mods though.

From what i remember on last years ebay ad it had a pair of twin tail pipes

Quinny was right the first time. If asked then the seller must disclose any such info. If not asked it is not a legal requirement to advise any potential purchaser of the status of the car. HPi checks are invaluable. As wrong as this may be, buyer beware. Even a dealer is not required to state this unless asked contrary to popular belief.
