Which 2-door convertible?

Mum's looking at selling her current Volvo next year, and wants a 2 door convertible. Budget would be around £10k, and the car would have to be up to 4 years old. The only one I could come up with is the new shape MX-5

If you are prepared to go older you have the Boxster or S2000. How about an MR2? Smart Roadster?

Volvo C70?

Technically 4 seats, but the newish ones look lovely, reliable, tankish safety and very economic with a diesel engine.

Also you like Volvos :P

I don't really know it's just what she said. I could only think of the MX-5 as I'm not really into new cars. All my suggestions have been 20 years and older. Triumph Stags, Vitesses, XJS's, MGB's you get the idea...

Boxster, the only real choice at this price level..and don't worry about the age limit..well built car, if looked after will give few problems no matter what the age..my mate has had one from new on an 02 plate and it has cost him little more than his Dads Astra in servicing over that time..superb car
