Tool chests on sale at Halfords

I bought these yesterday

Looked like an amazing deal to me.
Despite what it says on the website - the Reserve and Collect DOESN'T WORK.
It was telling me there was stock in 3 local stores but I couldn't reserve it, so I went to the store and they not only dealt with it quickly for me but also honoured the price calculation on the website and gave me them for £199.07
Must be the Yorkshire in me but I was chuffed to save an extra 93p

Hmm. Reserve and Collect does work, maybe there's some problem with your browser or it was just borked for a short time yesterday, but it's a nice fast system usually.

These things seem permanently to be on some sort of offer or other. Des anyonepay full price?? I got the industrial ones fro £300 the other week & I see they are back on at that price again now!

Honestly I wouldn't buy this.

I would get yourself a membership of costco, and every so often they have a deal on tool chests.

My wife bought me a full size floor to head height stainless steel tool chest that was industrial standard drawers etc for this price.

I'd take and post a photo, but it'd make you cry compared to the halford offering.

Bought the tool chest there for £100 from Halfords a couple of years ago. It's ok, but check the drawers pull out as they can be very stiff and vary from chest to chest.
Not the best quality, but decent for the money. And yes, theres always an offer on them.

If you pop in store they will honour the offer. It is a know issue that reserve and pick up is not working.

Didn't think to look on their American site. UK site is little more than contact details and locations.

They do a solid, timber topped roller chest that looks great, too.

They aren't that cheap tbh, you can get boxes with "free" tools that are good enough for home use for about the same price at Machine Mart (other tool suppliers are available).

I've got the one with 7 drawers you linked OP.
Nice toolbox tbh, had it a couple of years now & it'll still going strong - the drawers are still as smooth as if they were new
