Does anyone know where I can buy an oem air filter online for my BMW? Its a 56 plate 318d.

Or if anyone has any recommendations for an aftermarket one?

You can get them from GSF/Euro car parts, and pick the expensive or "BQ" ones rather than the bargain bin.
They'll usually be OEM, or at least OEM quality.

If you want a genuine BMW one, try Cotswold BMW (it's a group, nit just a dealer in the Cotswolds) and they will mail order one for you.

Eurocarparts. I got a pollen filter from them for my E65 for a third of the stealer price. When it showed up it was an OEM part with the BMW logo ground off. I'm guessing that only stealers can sell the branded stuff.

Quick update...

Ordered the air and fuel filter from Cotswold BMW, £55 including delivery. Not sure if this is this is a good price or not really, just wanted to make sure I got the correct parts as it will be the first time I've changed them myself
