HELP URGENTLY NEEDED

Got A missfire between the revs of 2500-3000 rpm, can be standing still or ragging, more noticeable in first as considerable drop in power, I dont need a busted 5 so close to Japfest and being on the NUTZ stand!!!! Did have some white powder on the HT lead the coil end on the plug closest to the Coil pack.

HT lead also seems very loose when i wiggle it. Going to buy some cheapy replacements from Camberley Auto Factors tomorrow and see if it does the trick! hopefully it does then i can buy some decent ones!! Any help would be appreciated!

Magnecor HT leads are quite cheap. My car had a slight stutter when I bought it and new HTs solved it.
