Is there any where i can get my EMU tested. Or Diagnostic fault reader.

Start with a fault code reader. I expect most TVR specialists will have one, they don't cost a great deal, there was even a chap on PH renting them out for a few quid at one time (although I think he gave up the idea). If you conclude there's an ECU fault, you may need to send it to somebody like www.ecuclinic.com. But it seems to me that the vast majority of problems are caused by faults external to the ECU so don't be too quick to blame the ECU.

Shame the damn thing started just as we where about to find out if it is the ECU

Actually I forgot about the Steve Heath ECU diagnostic box, he was showing me one at the PPC show last year at Mallory, maybe a good start, bit easier then driving about with an Oscilloscope on the passenger seat.

Too curvy in these parts I'm heading back to the dark angular side...

It was a pig to start in the morning.Ones it finished farting and popping it seemed ok.Conked out again 1/4 mile from home.left it for 10mins more farting/popping.Got it home it sat on the drive rumbling away as if nothing was wrong.

Has anyone mentioned the yellow connector in the steering column?

Cheers I have checked the yellow plug its OK.

when you say checked ,have you pulled it apart and looked inside
i had the same problem checked it and looked ok
when i cut it off and got it apart it was burnt

Yes it came apart on problem no sign of damage But it will have to wait as iam offshore for 2 weeks.
