We're off to the N'Ring in 2 weeks, I've never been before..

I've got laps already bought, and the accommodation is sorted too. I just wondered how many Euros I should get changed up for the 4 days we're over there for.. Anyone have any idea?

Thanks! smile

i wouldn't bother - you'll get raped on the euro cash rate (even more so at the moment). just use a debit card to buy stuff - you probably get a much better rate via the bank anyway.

Thanks!

I checked today, HSBC are offering 1.07 and a 2.75% charge on each transaction.. Does that sound reasonable?

Take a couple of hundred & check how you are paying for yr accom, a few places won't take uk cards.

quite frankly, no. if you're going to europe regularly, you should get a card with no euro transaction charges.

Maybe twice, three times a year at a maximum.

I would take 1k and go steady on the hookers as the Ring laps are extortionate! wink
