ok guys 1200 km to drive which would cost me around 700 euro in fuel alone, and then 12 hours in the narrow seat and cockpit...kind of a nightmare...if there is a good party going on saturday to sunday I might jump in a plane and get a rental car, which I did before and worked great, probably will skip the camping (thanks steve !) as camping in late April in England is not really my bag of tea...
