Upgrade rear speaker & fit Amp

Would any of you have some advice on what the best & easiest Stereo Amplifier cable routing would be in a Griffith 500 if the amp is fitted in the boot (signal and power leads)? Also where to place the ground cable on the chassis.
I don't see any other space for it too go than the boot really but any suggestions are welcome. Just hoping to see that the roof section will still fit.

I presume the cabling is run from the battery in the passengers foot well toward the boot running in the far corner under the carpet on the passenger side but I could be wrong. The other thought is to run the cabling under the car tied to the chassis under the centre console without having to remove it.

Some advice or lessons learned would be helpful before committing to the installation of the Amp & bigger rear speakers.

You're welcome to inspect mine (well, Chim 430 but anyway...) which a former owner had some 6x9s, a free-air sub and an amp installed into. Amp is in one of the behind-the-seats storage spaces. Very nicely done but I wish they'd spent more on the front speakers in comparison to the rears rather than vice versa...

I used to to a (very) occasional bit of SQ competition with a previous car so I might be able to give some pointers...

I had a couple of Alpine V12 amps in the boot of my Griff bolted in between the rear light clusters. roof use to still go in and out ok as long as you weren't in a hurry!You can run the power lead from the battery under the carpets along the outer edge and all your other cables along the other side.I had some openings just below the upper seat belt mount that went into the boot so all the cabling went through them.
