Looks nice but I'd rather have the old SL smile I would like to see one in person before I make a final judgement though.

I prefer the SL look as well.

Those bonnet stripes look so naff!

Why would you have a Bi-Colore without Bi-Coloure interior and just naff boring plain old black...

Performante is stunning in the flesh. Our first car was orange, gone now though.

erm ... see that / this link in the advert:

www.lamborghini-bicolore.com

... 'plain old black' is the only option though it actually has grey/silver stitching woohoo

think the white/black with black interior is really quite subtle but that's just me I guess wink

I am sorry Lambo but just build something else, 458 is a much more attractive car and judging by the people that have tested them, a lot better to drive. The Performante is nice but not for 204k.

SL is awesome, the updated paint on the insides of the performante bumper makes it look even better, if they offered that on the SL that would be the way to go. The Bicolore is possibly the worst looking gallardo ever made, quite frankly an embarassment in comparason for an expensive "special edition".

Lovely car and in the right colour. 458 can't be compared as it's a coupe compared to this Spyder.

Compare it to the Ferrari 16M though smile

Looks like I'll be having wet dreams tonight.

One thing I can't get my head around is car dealers and photos for adverts. How can someone take so little care to make sure the pictures are clear reasonably sized? Does my head in.

Personally I think that the front bumper looks stupid. Much prefer the old one.

You're not going to buy a car based on some photos (or if you are you'll have someone take some very high resolution photos) so it doesn't really matter smile

I didn't mean to say they will, but it's the little things like that show a dealer takes extra care.

IMO the performante is a much better looking car than the 458

Isn't one a spyder and the other a coupe so hardly a fair comparison. Surely it should be compared to the (as yet unseen) 459 Spider?

Yes true but for overall looks i'd prefer the performante

OVER £200k for a Gallardo...with all that old technology...I would sooner put the extra £50k in and get the Aventador surely a much wiser choice...

I think a fairer price is £160k ish

You would need a little more than £50k if you wanted your Aventador to have a steering wheel etc as the sensible options bring it up to £270k at least. That said I think the SL and Performante prices are crazy.
