Rectifying earlier botched bodywork repair

Last year my car was rear-ended. Then repaired by a certain specialist bodyshop who ceased trading the day after returning the vehicle. Relieved at simply getting the thing back, I lived with the rippled finish on one rear wing that was a result of the job nor being blocked properly before painting. Car now needs a further minor repair to a parking scrape in the same area ( ) and I'm wondering whether to ask the former manager of the earlier bodyshop (who now is the proprietor of his own similar business) whether he would welcome the opportunity of doing the honourable thing in sorting out his previous handiwork whilst fixing the latest ding?

He did a very nice job on the back of my Chimaera where the wifey reversed into it...

If it is I'd quit while I was behind and go somewhere else to have you P&J restored. I see your in Northants, you could try Ewelme, great bodyshop and about the same distance as errrr the other one we're talkin about but not mentioning!!!!

If you mean the fellah fond of ripping the pi$$ out of insurance companies by re-crashing cars prior to estimate, and falsely advising customers of damaged Afterburner light pods so as to keep the old ones for his own mould making purposes, I guess we are talking about the very same geezer. Maybe, on reflection, best avoided with a capital AW
