Quick accel cable question..

Howdy.

Just a quick question. At what point in the build did you fit the accelerator cable? The cd advises to fit it before a certain number of panels, but being a bit of a numpty I can't remember which ones. I also seem to remember in several of the blogs this happened at a later stage (correct me if I'm wrong). Does it matter at all?

I should probably Introduce myself. I'm Joel. I've been a lurker on here since our chassis arrived about 4 months ago. Currently we are finishing the panelling. (hence the question)

You will want to have the cable in place before you fit the side pod and luggage container. Fit it at the same time as routing in your aircon hoses if fitting aircon.

I fitted the acceleartor cable using an additional tunnel (electrical install) in the side container. I can imagine the day will come when you need a new accelerator cable and then it is very easy to replace.

if cable ever goes, just change the inner... the cable comes with out a nipple end so you can feed it through the original outer...five mins job!!
