Battery, dead, alarm going off, help !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Discussion
Thanks, I've just had a charger delivered & when I connected it to the car battery, it's silenced the alarm,
I need to remove the charger when I leave work.
The car's going to be static for a couple of months, is there a way of isolating the alarms own battery ?
If not, I can charge the car battery every month (It's been sat there for 6 weeks before it died).

Might be worth buying an Accumate battery reconditioner.I have one which i connect and leave if im not using the car for more than say 4 or more days.... Similar to a charger, but all it does is 'trickle charges' the battery when it needs it...detects when the battery is getting low, and is safe to leave on continuously. The alarm on these cars does tend to drain the battery over a period of time, more so than your 'Euro-box'...and I am not aware of the alarm having its 'own' battery...but then Im still 'learning' about these cars anyway

Mine is always put on trickle charge, even 4 a couple of days.
