I just arrived back at work after lunch and witnessed 1 customer reverse there car into a van, moving it about 10 feet back!
The tow bar has cracked the bumper (very badly) and damaged the licence plate. They got out, had a quick look, removed a bit of debris from their tow bar and then got back in the car, tearing off down the road a little quickly.
I did get the reg and noted the car type, but it never ceases to amaze me how inconsiderate and reckless some people are...

My god, someone replied... I have never seen a thread die such a quick death...
As petrolheads I assumed you would all be a disgusted as me! I was wrong... haha
Just imagine it though, your car gets hit, no details left by the guilty party and there was no witnesses! You would be gutted.. You should all be ashamed of yourselves for not showing your anger at this person here with me!

I stood next to my car and watched a F***wit reverse straight into the towbar
luckily only damaging their car, she proceeded to attempt to drive off, only stopped with me knocking on her window, Her response: "What! I never hit your car" Halfwit Husband gets out and says "o yeah, sorry"
I take their details in case.

Well I just handed the details in at reception and asked them to call the owner of the damaged vehicle to the front desk. I just got one of the store managers to tell them about it and inspect the van for any damage.
Out of my hands now.. I have done my bit! I almost feel like a grass at school! Its great

A couple of times I've put a note on the windscreen of the "attacked" car, with the reg no. of the other driver and my telephone number if they want a witness.
Only problem with this, is that I have seen the offender sneak back (on foot after parking some distance away) and remove the note from the windscreen, so I usually try and track down the person if possible - unfortunately all you can do is leave a note a lot of the time though if the person is on a retail park or similar
