I surely can't be the only one sick of all the bloody threads about first cars (yes, I kow I posted one a bit since).

Due to this, I was hoping, and I know making ANOTHER thread may be somewhat counter productive, that we could compile a list of sensible first cars for your average 17 year old.

I think we should say the car can cost no more than £1500.

I'll check the details for my details when I started to drive, so we can get an idea of the prices.

Hopefully we an stop this forum being continually bloody clogged up, and if this is successful, it could be, perhaps, sticky-ed by a mod.

Seriously though, its surprising how little the actual car makes to a 17 year olds policy. For example when I was 17 I had a quote for 2600 for a 1ltr Micro. In the end I paid 2900 for a 1.6 Fiesta, a much better deal imo.
Now, next thread.... Best postcode for a 17 year old to insure anything remotely interesting would be good.
