Timming

The garage who are changing my valve springs have asked me to give them info on the timming marks ect to time a 2.5L engine. can anyone help as this has been sprung on me at the last minute?

thay can make thier own timing marks using tipex - provided cylinder no 1 is at TDC

are they taking the engine out to do the springs ?

ok mike cheers, engine is out already . Just need to get springs and valve seals in then engine back in car.
