I need to replace the battery in the T350c (2003) but I am having difficulty find one that will fit correctly.

The one that is already in the car is a type 069 but does not have any lugs on it to work with the battery clamps, therefore is moves about. I ordered a varta one of Ebay was was said to fit but it won't even go in and is too long.

Can someone tell me what manufacturer and model number will fit my car and where can I get one? I want one that will fit correctly and does not need to be modified or require additional clamping arrangement.

Thanks

Ian

Hi Ian,

you may well get an answer tonight, but encase you don't give Greg a call at Revival Bodyshop, he has just fitted a new battery to mine and will be able to give you the details you require.

Hi,

Thanks for the link but the battery in the picture is the same style as the one that I already have in the fact that there are no location lugs on the ends.

Why not take it out and go down to the local auto spares shop with it. I had the same problem but the guys went in the back and had a look at what they had that looked visually the same as the old battery?

The one I bought from www.performancebatteries.co.uk, listed for our cars seems to fit just fine. I can't remember the shape of the bottom lip but I don't recall noticing it being a problem to fit in/bolt down.

Thanks for all of the replies and I think that I have found one and it should be with me by the weekend.

Once it arrives and I confirm that it fits I will post the necessary details.

Thanks again.

The one they sent me has a ridge around the bottom plus it fits perfectly in the tray, so when the side holding bolt/bracket was done up it was going nowhere tight as a Nuns...biggrin
I see you are sorted now, good luck hope it fits ok.
