cassis? What is it.
Discussion
Cassis is part of a class of spirits known as "Creme de" which is actually a French legal description. Creme de Cassis must contain at least 400g / litre of sugar (!).
its very sweet stuff, best kept for cocktails - although depending on how many years old it is, it can go a bit wierd after a while.
