So called " Private sellers" in the classifieds!

I don't mind car dealers or folks trying to make a few quid on the side but ffs don't lie about it, after entertaining my self for an hour on the classifieds and using the search function to filter out the trade i am amazed at the amount of cars offered that are not genuine private sales . I thought the days of " its my sisters mates uncles car" excuses had disappeared now that people got wise to actually posting off log books but it seems not The 1st question i ask on the phone before any other is "how long have you owned the car" , if its followed by a load of old tosh i move on. Does this p*ss on anyone else's fire or is it just me

If it's something I want, in the right condition, at the right price, I wouldn't care if it was being sold by Robert Mugabe.

I'm a great believer in minding my own business but when I see sts like that trying to get out of their responsibilities to a purchaser it makes me want to inform trading standards and the taxman.
