guys if anybody can help it would be much appreciated....
When heading back from work yesterday in my E92 335i i noticed a few problems - when moving away under a very light but constant throttle - to about 15mph - the car jumped a little and didn't accelerate smoothly and when at the speed would fluctuate slightly.
later on in the journey (once the car was warmed up) i came to the front of some traffic lights and accelerated away briskly with the auto ox pushed to the left and using the paddles - 1st gear was all good, up to second and instead of revving out 6ish like before the car changes up at about 4k rpm without me asking it to.
i am at a loss to the problem, i bought the car at the back end of january (07 plate) with 21k and it now has 24k. in that time it has had a few bits done under warranty (inc. HPFP less than 1k ago) does anybody know the cause? When i am next out in a fully warmed up car i'll try the acceleration again to see if it was a one off but otherwise i am at a loss.
