Histrionic and/or Borderline Personality Disorder

Used to work for the psychiatric wing of a pharmaceutical company a few years ago.

From what I remember about personality disorders, there was no cure, only management.

My apologies for this being my first post despite lurking on here for longer than I care to remember!

Having read most of the threads on here regarding "the mental" I should really have posted this link before as it gives a really good insight into how these disordered individuals conduct themselves.

When you have been subjected to their strange and disruptive behaviour over a long period of time (as I have, unfortunately) it is a relief to know that your own situation is not an isolated one and that you are not the cause of the problems and arguments that they create.

If you are being subjected to the sort of mental (and sometimes physical)abuse that these sad individuals revel in you have my utmost sympathy.

Because its impossible to understand how you can be 'the one' one day and 'no one' the next as if you never existed.

Ruthless efficient machines that feel no emotion aren't supposed to look like normal people...

That's hpd more than bpd though..

Some interesting points on here.

I am currently in the process of witnessing such a person at work. The pain, misery and heartache they are causing people is barely believable.
