Personally I think £80 is a little steep. Does anyone produced OEM brackets or similar?

Can't answer your question, but if you think they are "a little steep" why not set up a business to make your own for less.
All you have to do is select a product with a fairly small market, design a solution, manufactur in small volume, stock, supply, shipping, generate some sales avenues, pay some staff, and make a profit.
You're probably right, and they should really be £10. Sell yours for 30 and you'll make a killing.

As you may or may not know, the UBTV bracket has adjustable arms to lengthen or shorten the distance from the screen to the speaker.
If you just want to mount them and leave them, then it wouldn't be too difficult to manufacture a T piece from a couple of bits of aluminium.
Have you got a GS or standard model?
