Glad everyone's alright, a risky move just to improve the look of your car.

What possesses a father to allow their 20 year to drive such a car? then again when I was in Hong Kong, at one of the Lambo meets, a youngster, still at college, turned up driving daddies Reventon........so I popped over to have a chat with him and he said that he had had a choice of 20 Lambo's but decided on the Reventon! vomit
Anyway, glad they are both ok, though I guess the son could be in for a thrashing by his old man!

I can just imagine the conversation:
Driver:"Dad I have crashed your Apollo and its written off"
Dad:"Are you injured"
Son: "No"
Dad: "Dont you mean "not yet""!!!
I cannot image allowing a 20 yesr old to take his 19 year old girlfriend out in an Apollo. No chance he will try to show off then!!!

There is the possibility the son knew where the keys were and just took it.

When I was a young lad, a guy I knew borrowed his dad's BMW 7 series. They had a very long driveway. Long enough for this lad to be able to turn the car over while drunk.

He went to great lenghts to convince his parents that someone had broken in and stolen the keys including breaking windows and filing a police report the next day. Young men are idiots when trying to get into panties.

No real surprise there.
