Need help!!!! Is there a trick to undoing the adjuster?
I need to remove the calipers and have got the car over a pit already.I have reached up above the diff and tried to turn the adjuster clockwise, facing the front of the car.
It doesnt seem to want to turn much....

Any help?

What are you trying to do? You don't need to slacken off the handbrake cable to remove the calipers.

Clockwise will tighten it, anti-clockwise is to undo, I think it is a 2 piece adjuster so one bit locks into the other, back one off at a time.

I have some others to fit , so yes the handbrake mechanism needs releasing.
Plus I need to check the earth points under the centre console.

Slacken teh Handbrake handle, then underneath pull the cable off one of the Holders it goes through with the rubber grommet, dont need to touch the adjuster. thats how i did mine when i needed to get the centre console off.

Mine was very easy to adjust, its like nuts that are locked together, back the first off then the second, this takes only a few seconds, of course seeing as no two TVR’s are the same yours is probably completely different.

Antony, did you try taking the cable of the holder(if it has one) as i said earlier, means you wont need to touch the adjuster.

You could try using 2 pairs of pliers.

Finally done it !!!!!
I also pulled the cable down to give the adjusters some serious lube.

So , rear spiders are on , just the fronts to do..........

I mailed you through your profile, was just asking how the conversion worked out compared to the official TVR one.
