Took her off road last July to start the conversion, got it taxed and it came out this week.

Brief spec of the car:

- C20LET engine running EDS PH2
- GAZ coilover suspension with eccentric top mounts
- 6 Point roll cage and front/rear strut braces
- Stitch welded chassis with harry hockly strengthening kit welded on
- Poly bushed throughout
- Ferodo DS2500 pads and braided brake lines
- Cobra bucket seats

Plans are to fit the Tran-x plate diff I've got, get R888s and a Helix paddle clutch.

Perfect track car, love the pics, everything just looks so simple (in a good way) if you know what I mean.

That must go like st off a shovel! Bet it gets interesting when you reach a corner though biggrin

I think that the roll cage needs to match the bodywork. That or make the wheels match the rollcage biggrin

Understand the weight saving but surely a front grill doesn't weigh that much to leave it off the car?

Can be fun though, but don't fancy the cars chances when that lower front brace clobbers something...

Looks like a great project...

But are there some pieces missing from the front end confused

Paint the cage same colour as body and neaten the interior up a little, grill on front and tidy exhaust that would be awesome, still is tho! nice one. id be a little worried bout the lower strut that low though?

I think is is a 'look' that I see a few trackcars sporting.. I think it just attempts to show 100% function over style, i.e its designed to one thing, and one thing only.. Go fast, and doing that requires as much air as possible in.

I have to say it..... NOVADOSE!!!!!

That front anti roll bar looks very low? yikes

Compared to more modern machinery that looks very light weight. I bet it goes like a biatch'! I have always had a soft spot for Novas, The neighbour had a GTE (???) when i was young and he used to pay me to wash it, I was in 7th heaven!

Helped convert a few of these, latest was a Nova Saloon with a throttle bodied c20xe.

Like the novas just a shame about the cult status .......

Personally can't stand Novas, can think of at least 10 hatches I'd rather have!!

However, looks incredibly tidy (no rust at all?), and I bet it's a giggle to drive. Well done!
