Good food in Salisbury?

Alas the PH Good Food Guide bears no fruit when it comes to Salisbury.

Anyone have any good suggestions of eateries? Any food 'genre' considered.

Thai Sarocha is a firm favorite every time I am in Salisbury. Highly recomended!

If you like Indian Anokaa (http://www.anokaa.com/) is very good. Its a modern fusion place not a greasy cheap curry house. I always think their service is spot on there as well. Can be very busy on a Saturday.

Hot lardy cake from the bakers on the corner of the market square

probably not what you were thinking of, but it used to a treat for us every market day- god it was good (and hopefully still is!)

The Swan at Stoford just out of Wilton is brilliant, I enjoy Alpinos in town, but a lot of my friends don't for some reason!
I second Wagamama, good if you like something a bit different!
Thai Orchid is brilliant too.
There's a chinese along from the White hart which is delish!

Booked a table at The Boot, and bloody lovely it was too. Can't recommend highly enough!
