^ Wow. The Modial is always a bit marmite (I like em), but this "creation" really is special. I wonder if the lad next door had a nice MR2 and mondial man tried to copy it?

Worse than that.

Note carefully taken photos to hide the wrong proportions these horrors always display...

Why people put so much effort into building such cack is beyond me...

If it’s the one I'm thinking of, it’s an absolute horror of a car (inspected it approx. 2 years ago for somebody)

The funny thing is that the 355 bumpers and light panel look terrible on them, due to the curves, the more angular 348 bumpers look OK when modified properly to fit

Why oh why oh why? I quite like the Mondial and as the OP says it does look more like a replica than the real thing. Ferrari should buy this and crush it.

Its currently got bids at £9100, why would you even bother? How much could you get a real one for , 17k perhaps? Seen a quasi 355/360 MR2 conversion around our way, saw it last weekend when the sun was out cruising real slow in front of a pub's bear garden with the numpty driver scanning around to see who's looking at him. Pretty sad behaviour.

I hate to be missing something here but shouldn't that advert actually say it's a rep? Bit naughty no?

From what I can gather it is actually a Ferrari Mondial that's been badly modified to the point where it looks like a replica.

That's what I thought. In those pictures, apart from the black windows, it doesn't look too bad. I think the fuller picture showing the front bumper to be from a 355 and the rear from a 355, as someone mentioned above, would show it to clash somewhat. Shame. I quite like Mondials.
