2012 BMW 1 Series Spy-Video

Hi all,

I'm currently on holiday in Monaco for Top Marques, a motor show, and surprisingly saw a new 1 Series with a little bit of camo on it driving through, it makes sense to bring it here when there are lots of journalists and the like in town, certainly not somewhere to take it if you don't want it seen!

BMW love putting that on their development cars....it's fake to make them look like a Merc I think.

ive got a Hatch 120d auto faceelift,the most boring looking car made.

Problem is does a great job of giving me 30000 miles a year of pretty fast economical pain free motoring with a great driving position.


But wow does it leave me feeling unmoved when I unlock it.

Looks terrible, why have they made it so ugly, is this a late April fools?

Engines are also not looking good. A pair of 1.6 petrols borrowed from the MINI in 116i/ 118i guise and the 116d/ 118d/ 120d 2.0 diesels carried over unchanged. 123d dropped.

That's what I've always noticed, hence I'm wondering if this is actually for real
