Excluding the specials, when did the last Cerbera's leave the factory in reasonable numbers?

I had a 4.5 for 5 years (sold 3 years ago) which was stroked by Joolz. Still missed! I'm interested in returning to the fold and aquiring a late model 4.5 which will be a 'keeper' this time. Anyone want to offer me one? wink

Also can you guys please update me on Joolz new employer and whether they still offer re-mapping/short induction kits?

Here is my favorite picture of my previous Cerb which is still healthy in Devon according to regular TVR News reports:

2003/2004 is when the last lot left in any reasonable numbers from what I have seen.

Hope you rejoin the fold asap Phil, I remember seeing your car at TCS just before you sold it, I knew you would be back... Joolz is at Raceproved as far as I know, I must get back in touch with him sometime soon. smile

Would be unfair for me to tell but its a Viper Blue GTS and they regularly attend the TVR meets in Devon/Cornwall.

Hi BCA. Good to hear from you. I notice you may be leaving Cerb ownership? What's replacing the Cerb?

Who are the proven Cerb re-mapping experts now? I see ACT are still on the scene but the Raceproved web site is written generally so I'll have to call them.

There are plenty of options now that didn't exist before.
My latest Cerb is a 4.5 RR with approx 436 bhp but with more to come should I invest further. Thanks to Raceproved.
Apm do a 4.7, Raceproved are working on a 4.8 (from a 4.2 donor), RP do remaps and short induction with plenty of 400 hp plus 4.5's.... Then of course there is the LS yank route should power and non AJP be your bag.
Raceproved have an open day on the saturday of the chatsworth weekend. Come up and take a look at their outfit, speak to joolz, see some plastic in the flesh, have a ride in mine....?!

Hi Phil, its looking more likely that we're going to garage the Cerb for a bit and allow it a semi-retirement role in the future rather than sell it, the advert will run to the end, but unless someone comes along with the full asking, I believe it'll stay. smile It has been replaced with a 'leccy smart for the commute (rubbish!) and a T350C for fun/sprints/hillclimbs (sublime!) smile

There really isn't much out there that compares to a Cerb, we'd probably regret not keeping it.

Thanks for the kind offer Gazzab. Sounds like you have a good one.

Looks like I need to find one first and then do some reasearch before deciding on improvements.

Raceproved, TVR Power and Austec seem to have it covered - and be well spread geographically!

Question on Cerbs. What years and how many LHD Cerbs were shipped out of the factory. There must have been some LHD models produced but we just can't seem to find any for sale.

None, but there were six or seven converted by (or in commission from) the Swiss importers IIRC.

He was asking about joolz, but yes there are other outfits who I am sure offer AJP tuning enhancements. Austed and Power I guess?

Hi Eric,

Hope things are well with you. How's that gorgeous Chim of yours ?
thumbup

Not too sure about the 'LHD' figures coz I rEad somewhere, about five years ago, that there were, in fact, FOUR LHD models ordered and built at the factory.
I think that the main German TVR Dealer will also 'do' a conversion as well.

Found these Prod. Figs. on here a few years ago...

You can choose if you believe them or not...

1578 in total: must be a couple of hundred of owners on PH, no? Interesting to see production went down each year but one - when there was the little facelift.
