Toilet Seat Wobble
Discussion
My wife insisted on me fitting replacement toilet seats when we moved in.
Now several years on these generic seats have worked lose and whenever you sit on them you nearly end up sat in the bowl with the seat to one side.
I attempted to fit them with new screws and studlock but they still work lose. I even siliconed the mount to the bowl along with the screw fixing.
Is it me or is a wobbly toilet seat very annoying ?
Is there such thing as a good universal toilet seat and if so please let me know, or should I just wait until we refurbish the whole bathroom ?

I had exactly the same problem! Bought the cheapest one I could find to stop the wife going on about getting a new one and within weeks, the studs and nylon 'bolts' worked loose and we inadvertantly invented loo surfing!
The only way I could fix it was to go and get a better quality one unfortunately. (I tried everything you have tried too!)
