Currently on sale cars with nav that won't use full postcode

Can anyone tell me of currently on sale new cars that you KNOW don't accept a 7 digit postcode on their factory satnav?
I understand the sat nav fitted to the new smart Passion & BRABUS doesn't, my 09 Toyota Auris didn't and nor did our 05 Vx Signum.
Anyone? I'm just trying to understand if this is still quite common amongst factory fit units.

Not necessarily; except for the expensive, to spec and update!However it's also unsightly and inconvenient using a wired stuck on nav like the Tom Tom that attracts lowlife to your P&J.
Frankly I find full postcode navigation on satnav very overrated at least for the UK. Have found the same problem in other countries too.
The reason is that for many larger companies the postal address is different from the street address, thus you turn up at the wrong place.
There are also some where they deliberately choose a different postcode for all sorts of reasons and you can end up outside somewhere quite bizarre. Once we had someone sat outside the local delivery office because they'd just banged tho postcode in and not done their homework before.
The other downside comes with using postcodes in rural areas. For example the postcode for my brother's place is in the middle of a field which is about 3 x 1km. Without a look at a map you would have to just drive around the roads looping around the field.
Therefore if satnavs don't have full postcode searching does not worry or inconvenience me in THE slightest. It's completely unimportant.
