Hi all,

Any way of securing these in abit more its a little bit more difficult to lift them.

Why I ask is because I was in my garden and 2 kids (17 ish) walked passed when I was in the garden and heard one say " Im going to lift one of those one night" Might just be kids being kids but you can never be to sure.

Oh I have concrete gravel boards aswell.

Thanks

Les

Either try and fix into the gravel panels (this may be tricky) or run a stout steel wire across the top of all the panels and secure into the top of each panels with those U shaped nail type thingies biggrin

Do both of these and you should be fine.

Years ago, I had one of those "concrete post with slot in panel" fences, and when the wind got up they rattled like hell. I simply cut some 3 inch long wedges and whacked them inbetween the post and panel (as suggested above) - stopped the rattling for sure, and had the added benefit that it would have taken serious brute force to move the panel if you didn;t knock the wedge out first.

Or drill through the concrete channel and post and pop a bolt through

Easy, quick but maybe a bit of a bodge?

Get some gripfill (in the green tube) lift out panel and apply a dot in each channel, refit.

It sets hard as buggery that stuff. Only use a dot each side or you will never be able to replace them.

disclaimer; I've never tried this and don't know if it will work but that stuff seems to stick things together very well indeed

I use big cable ties on my fence panels.

We live in quite a windy spot and suffered with the panels bowing in the wind then popping out the concrete posts, got a bit worried about them causing damage to both ours and the neighbours house.
