Am I 'to blame' for the good weather?

It's been a few weeks since my Chimaera went into the body shop and we haven't had a drop of rain since I dropped it off.

Another hot and sunny weekend has just passed, with warm and dry conditions forecast for the foreseeable and even a couple of long weekends thrown in for good measure.

I hope you are all enjoying the great weather my bad luck seems to have given........I watched a few TVR's pass me yesterday as I drove along in my tin-top.

Actually I know the feeling, having been "between" sports cars for most of last year.
But look on the bright side: when it's back on the road those sunny days will be even sweeter!

As said already it will certainly make you appreciate it and enjoy it more when you get it back.

Ah well, last year mine had been sitting in someone else's workshop from late March to the beginning of June, most of that time waiting for an ARP head stud kit to arrive...

Of course, when I finally got fed up and located another set that was available off the shelf, both arrived on the same day

I feel for you, it's always the way - these things could never happen over winter!

You & me both then Garlick, the good weather has also coincided with my Chim being in the paint shop for a respray. It will be snowing by the time I get her back!!!

Dont worry ive had my "other than TVR" car detailed,so its a sure fire reason to hurl it down.It looks all lovely and shiny

Me also! Its now the start of the 3rd week for my T350t sitting in the paint shop and cannot believe the good weather.

I guarantee you it rains the day they say its ready!

We are in for a glorious summer, I can guarantee it because I sold my ski boat in November!
