Hello, tamora dreamer.
Discussion
I have posted a few times regarding Tamora's for sale. I now have two others I was hopping people may have some info on.

I do know a little about the second one as I phoned the dealer when it was for sale previously.
Any advice appreciated.
Adam.

Well spotted, I will ask when i phone him up.
I'm fairly sure it won't have ABS , i have read that a couple of cars have it fitted but its unlikely , apart from the few TVR independent dealers most will not know much about these cars despite what they may say .In my view for what its worth a tam at 12kish is cheap and i would want it inspected by a good specialist before i parted with any money . That's not what i did but its what i should have done .

Black car looks like a low spec interior, silver one looks nice but i'd want to know just what was involved in the engine rebuild (sometimes it's no more than a replaced valve) and what garantee there is with it?
As ever get it checked over by specialist & get HPI etc...
Now i know i might be telling you something you allready know but you'll need to budget about £1000 on running the car, servicing etc, there great cars but don't imagine you'll be able to run one on Mondeo money!
Mines going in for service, new clutch, MOT & a few other bit's & bob's and recon it's going to be £2K+!!!
Good luck with the search...

Thanks for the advice,
I’m looking at buying the car outright so running costs should not be a problem, plus it’s a weekend car so I can leave it in the garage if a big job comes up. 1k a year should be fine, don’t know if I could stomach 3k every year though, I hope Mattt is joking.
I have a TVR specialist not too far away from me near Stansted, I have also been to the meets at the Forresters for a chat with a few tvr owners. Everyone seemed very helpful.
I did find it strange that the darker car does not have leather, was leather an extra?

£2k a year minimum to keep the car tiptop. Yes, you can get away with a service and changing broken parts, but then the car will devalue like many out there. Keep it tiptop! Mine will probably have £2.5k spent on it this year, after Nitrons and Bump Steer mod I'm already on the way, 12k service in June (luckily nothing needs doing).I’m looking at buying the car outright so running costs should not be a problem, plus it’s a weekend car so I can leave it in the garage if a big job comes up. 1k a year should be fine, don’t know if I could stomach 3k every year though, I hope Mattt is joking.

You're really looking at the bottom end of the market there. I reckon any £12k Tamora could swallow £3k without a second thought.
They're fabulous cars, make no mistake. But you've got to appreciate near-supercar performance means near-supercar upkeep. Personally, I wouldn't gamble on a cheap Speed Six without a £5k contingency. Not if I wanted to use it this summer anyway.

Ive recently bought a cheap t350 ive gone in with my eyes wide open as they say and at its service it cost 3k plus to put things right. You are looking at the lower end of the market.Dont forget its a 9 year old supercar. You should be budgeting for 3k a year upkeep in my opinion, Ive had TVRs for a while now and looking through my invoices they average about 2.5k a year with another 1k on top for extra things ive wanted. All in my opinion of course and if you can run one for a grand a year well done.
Much appreciated guys, thank you.
The reason I am looking at the lower end is so I can buy the car without having to borrow any money. Leaving me with plenty of money to spend on the car each month, that way I can slowly bring the car back to show room standard (part of the bonding process for me)
I will probably have a little look and see what this price band has to offer and re-evaluate.
