Replacing the Battery on a T350
Discussion
After winter lay up battery seems totally knackered. I've resigned myself to getting a replacement. Does anyone know what type of battery to buy and tips for getting the thing out - it seemed to be well secured - is there a retaining screw or bracket somewhere?
I missing all this good weather!!

Worth double-checking that the new battery has a lip around the bottom (or at very least on the sides) so that it can be properly secured. Also, if you buy from Kwik-fit, make sure that they do actually get you an 069. My local branch helpfully told me that the one they supplied (076 from memory) was a direct replacement. It's not.
Finally, where are you based? I seem to have built up a stock of 069 batteries at my house!
Regards,
Mark

Hi,
Went through the pain of finding the correct battery for my 2003 T350c and this one fitted correctly.
Arrived the next day, excellent packaging, 10 minutes to fit.

I just checked my order from the site I mentioned earlier - I got a type 069 too.
Thanks. I'll note that info away in my head for when I need to replace mine. And at 6 years old with it starting to lose charge more and more quickly, it can't be long. Check on the Sag, most have reversed Pos & Neg Posts.(the positive is not near the chassis like the T350), if so you need a E43(Varta is good) (or an 036)

Ok this is becoming at little tedious (expected it but help still required) for the moment my car is some 25miles from where I live so I'm spending a small furtune travelling back and forth to try diffent ways of getting it started. bought a battery from halfords (only place open over bank holiday) guess what too big 278mm long when tray is only 270. Next best battery option on internet is OK on plan size but is 220mm hign compared to orginal battery which is 205mm. will this fit also only found battery with terminal wrong way round
If anyone can tell me exactly which battery fits I'd be very greatful
Thanks in advance

The problem is they are all different. If you purchased from a TVR dealer they should supply a battery that will fit but I guess it will have the added 'TVR tax' on itIf anyone can tell me exactly which battery fits I'd be very greatful

Height should not be an issue (assume its a T-car?) so the extra 15mm should not be an issue. The battery will need the locating lugs so it can be clamped down.

Thanks for the positive help some not so -
Next time join the AA and get them to help.

You ignored 2 earlier replies with suggestions on where to get a suitable replacement, so I thought you needed some expert help and the man with a yellow van is as good as any.

Finally sorted and been for a run started first time.
battery I found is an exide classic EX69 it has the exact same casing as my orginal 'TVR' (Yuasa) battery same ampage it just has reduced cold cranking rating (I'm not planning driving when it's -18 so I figured that this does not count)
Euro car parts £50
Lead to think, has anyone started a spare parts list? (ie consumables) - thanks for all the help I recieved
