Ok, long shot here, but on the way home yesterday driving down the Fosse Way I spotted a rather strange 996 Carrera. Silver paint (nothing odd here), but it had been graffiti'ed. At first I thought it might have been a Gumball 3000 car with stickers, but it really looked like a London Underground train if you know what I mean.

The strange thing is that the graffiti wasnt on the windows or wheels - hence it had been done on the body only (side, doors, wings, bonnet and boot). A mixture of wild and vivid colours too....

Anyone seen / know / heard of this car? Young bloke driving it - just seemed very odd and I would doubt that anyone would intentionally do this to a 996.... ideas?

Graffiti washes of windows rather easily, possibly the same on wheels, might be vandalised, and cleaned..

I think I have seen this car too. I was driving along the M4 somewhere around Swindon I think. It was on the hard shoulder with another car and I noticed that it had graffiti on the rear and side. Obviously did not get a good look as I was travelling past and it was dusk.

Hadnt thought of that - maybe that was the case. It didnt look professional and hence made me think. Poor bloke - I just hope it was intentional rather than someone doing it "because its a Porsche".....

I've got that on DVD. Fantastic film. Very scary.
