someone posted a while back ( can't find it) about a facility on te rac site that let you find the rough location details fo an old car all you need is teh reg plate...

Entering a Reg No gives you Manufacturer, Model, Type, Colour, Fuel type, Date manufactured (not accurate), Number of Previous owners & Last owner change date. No location info available.

N.B. You now have to register and login to the My RAC web site.

Alternativly, (and easier for me), get a job with an insurance company that uses all the latest vehicle tracing databases/services.......

(perk of the trade i guess)

I can trace virtually any car using the reg no, and get its current owners details, history, hp details, etc, etc.....(BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING YOU)
