Anyone know of any cost effective dry sump systems for the Rover V8?

Anything mainstream a scavenge and pressure system can be taken off of and modded to an RV8 sump to try?

Don't try modding something unless you really know what you're doing, on various forums there's a regular stream of people with engines damaged by poorly designed or build dry sump systems, even a poorly designed oil tank can cause problems.

I'd have a chat with any of the well known Rover engine builders or alternatively Pace Products who make a number of pumps and fittings, tanks etc.

Thanks for the heads up. Will not play unless I'm sure I know what I'm doing...promise ;-)

I woud have thought a safer bet would be to use an accusump. That will ensure oiling during hard cornering etc. If you are trying to get rid of the sump and set the engine lower for instance then its harder. I looked for a dry sump solution on the G33, but couldnt find one that I felt I could trust without spending heaps. Accusump was a good alternative but didnt give the benefit of removing the huge sump pan.
