Hi guys,

I put a new gate in where there used to be solid wall, now we need a path across the lawn so the whole thing doesn't turn to mud!

Would like to do cheaply if possible....

The Mrs has vetoed the plastic stuff the grass grows through on the grounds that the dog and cat might still pooh on that section of grass.

I'd like something level with the lawn so I can just run the mower straight over without another set of edges to deal with.

Path will be 10 metres or so long.

Patio stones, concrete, edging stones and gravel..... something else?

Over to you guys!

Get rid of the cat and the dog biggrin

Joking apart, depending on the age of the property sand-stone slabs laid slightly lower than the lawn - the mower will go straight over them. That's what we have.

To make it cheaper you could lay your stones as stepping stones, ensuring you get them at the right spacings as pidgeon steps are not good!

Gravel, bark etc will not be good for running the mower over.
