Anything happnening 24th/25th April Easter Saturday/Sunday?

I have my 12 year old nephew coming to stay over the Easter break. I'm planning to take him to his first ever motorsport event on Saturday or Sunday (he lives a long way from us and his parents aren't really into cars). I'll be taking him in my 911rs, and hopefully his first event will be one he remembers for a long time.

So far, we have Truck Racing at Donington, or the F3 & GT Championships at Oulton.

Does anyone know of any other events on Saturday? I'm in Gloucestershire but prepared to make a long day of it so anything considered.

My mate's racing his Alfa 75 at Snetterton that weekend. Me and Mrs Blib happen to be up that way. So, we'll pop along on Sunday.

Have a day out in North Yorkshire!

Its always a fantastic 'show' put on by Mark - but beware it's all wrapped up by lunchtime, so you'd need to be up early!

This would however leave you the rest of the day to explore! Plenty to see and do on the way home.

On Saturday at Silverstone - VSCC Spring Start
Not too far from Glos, and there'll certainly be a variety of machines to keep him interested.

Thank you all for the great suggestions. I think I'll run them by him and see what he thinks - I think we'll be going to the Truck Racing at Donny, or the Drag Racing at Santa Pod. I can see them both appealing to a 12yr old lad.
