redo kitchen floor, with all stuff in situ?
Discussion
what can I do to smarten up my kitchen floor? old lino at the moment
quite a small kitchen, units/oven/fridge/dishwasher down both sides
I don't realy want to pull the whole kitchen out to do the floor
was thinking of self-adhesive tiles, could lift one leg up at a time on all the units etc, but are they just a bit crap?
click-together laminate possibly in the same manner, could I just go straight over the old lino, using it as the underlay stuff?
obviously I'm not a company director, otherwise it would all be granite imported from Nepal

As long as you have plinths at the bottom of the base units, you only need the flooring to go upto the legs and not under them. Where you have a fridge or washing machine, take them out so you can run new flooring under them or you'll catch the flooring whenever you try and get them out afterwards.
There are a lot of decent looking vinyls and laminates around and if you have a decent sub-floor, as said you could do a ceramic tiled floor.
